This new intervention project starts with the emergence of the spas in Montegrotto and Abano, called in ancient times the “well-being cradle”, as they are based on a Latin well know and basic principle: the beneficial effects produced on our organism by natural elements such as mud, water and heat.
Starting from this assumption, Bruno Polliero was able to capture the essence of the starting point, that is the connection between the spa tradition and the vicinity in which the new building would have been erected.
The building construction of the 2000 sq. meters covered spa had a multifunctional end use as it included: swimming pool, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, Bio-sauna, Ice Cascade, Salt Cabin for Halo-therapy, different showers stalls, Emotional Path, Cardio-Fitness area, Silence area, Magnesium and Potassium mini-pool, whirlpool and chrome-therapy and finally the Bistrot and Relax area.
The new fitness center was required to form a formal unique, whose architectural stage presence would have been a shattering element with the outdoor swimming pool inside the new area. The swimming pool, that was based on the science of potassium and magnesium minerals curative properties, offers, when compared to the traditional ones, an healthy alternative and harmonizes with the environment.
